Adrienne Barnes Stermer

Adrienne Barnes Stermer, 68, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at UMSMC at Easton. She was born in Boston, MA on February 24, 1945 and was a daughter of the late J. Gordon Barnes and Audrey Knott Barnes.
Adrienne graduated from Dulaney High School class of 1962 and also graduated from Villa Julie College class of 1964 with an Associate’s Degree. She was employed at Dorchester General Hospital and later in Florida where she was a Tumor Register. Adrienne retired in 2009. She enjoyed gardening, animals of all kind and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter Danielle Stermer of Cambridge, three grandchildren Alexis Pullara, Max Wroten, Ao Zhen Wroten, two sisters Leslie Barnes Foretich of Towson, and Michelle Barnes of Cambridge, two brothers David Barnes and Mark Barnes both of Tennessee and two nephews Jordan Keating and Ryan Foretich. Besides and her parents, she is preceded in death by a son Drew Stermer.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Hemophilia Foundation of Maryland, 13 Class Court, Parkville, MD 21234. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
