Alice Joanne Todd Killmon

Alice Joanne Todd Killmon departed this life on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at The Pines in Easton. Alice has been in declining health over the last several years. May she now have eternal peace and joy free from pain.

She was born in Cambridge, MD on August 5, 1937, Alice was raised by a special Aunt Marcia L. Todd. She attended schools in Cambridge and married her high school sweetheart, Ronald E. Todd on August 14, 1955. They moved to California while attached to the Marine Corps. Alice also lived in Western Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and Florida. After returning to Cambridge she worked for Mor-Value Grocery Store, Country Trails Western Store, Harbortown Resort and Orels Biscuits in Wye Mills.

Alice is survived by her first husband Ronald E. Todd of Deland, FL, daughter Dorothy D. Wilson and husband Johnie of Deleon Springs, FL, daughter Belinda J. Shores and husband Thomas of Sharptown, MD, two step daughters Denise Weilder and Nancy Boyles, three grandchildren Michele M. Eure and husband Joe of Snow Hill, Jonathan Wilson and wife Rebecca of St. Augustine, FL and Amy Belkey and husband Joseph of Deleon Springs, FL, a step grandson Scott A. Shores and wife Kimberly of Cambridge, a step granddaughter Melissa Weilder, four great grandchildren Rebecca Eure, Joseph Eure IV, Trey Belkey and Parker Wilson, a step great granddaughter Lilah Shores, cousins Sue and Jolynn Wilson, Tracy and Dawn Simmons and a dear friend Mrs. Shugie Dill. Preceding her in death is her second husband Donald L. Killmon, her parents Hilbert Todd and Alice Harrison, cousins Sandy Simmons and Anne Brinsfield, aunts Marcia Todd and Willie Vickers and an uncle John Todd.

Alice enjoyed activities at Pleasant Day in Cambridge which included ceramics, painting and drawing. She loved to go thrift shopping and to yard sales. Alice enjoyed traveling and reading and would adopt any stray animal she found. She was an avid bird watcher.

Pallbearers will be Joe Eure III, Jake Lewis, Nicholas Lewis, Scott Shores, Timmy Shores and Jolynn Wilson.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. with Rev. Harvey Dixon officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park.
