Alvin S. Hubbard, Jr., 59, of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Memorial Hospital at Easton. He was born in Cambridge on February 5, 1953 and was a son of the late Alvin S. Hubbard, Sr. and Elsie McGlaughlin Hubbard.
He attended schools in Cambridge. He was a tractor trailer repairman for Dick Wanex in Secretary and later at Utility Eastern Shore in Bridgeville, DE until his health declined. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, golfing and bowling. He was a past member of the Cambridge Jaycees.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Hubbard of Cambridge, a son Alvin Hubbard III of Cambridge, two grandchildren Harley Hubbard and Valearia Hubbard, two nieces that he helped raise Trisha Lemay and husband Jody of Cambridge and Samantha Bryant and husband Jason of Federalsburg, six brothers and sisters Laura Thomas and husband William of Cambridge, Allen Hubbard and wife Helen of Cambridge, Betty Darling of Cambridge, Iris Slacum of Cambridge, Trudy Foxwell of Cambridge and Judy Dyer of Delaware and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
