Arlene A. Hansen, 80, of Cambridge passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Chesapeake Woods Center. She was born in Hog Creek, MD on August 17, 1936 and was a daughter of the late Theodore and Stella Alderman Weddle.
Ms. Hansen attended schools in Easton and graduated from Easton High School in 1954. Some years ago, she had worked as an operator at C&P Telephone. Ms. Hansen later worked at Airpax and Hansen Seafood from 1978 until she retired in 1992. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge 1211, Ladies Auxiliary of the Choptank Memorial Post 7460 VFW and American Legion Post 91. She enjoyed crocheting and reading.
She is survived by a daughter Crystal Willey of Vienna, two sons Robert L. Anders, Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA and Guy S. Anders of Cannon, DE, five grandchildren Adrienne Messeca, Samantha Wheatley and Austin Willey, Courtney Dukes and Kelsey Anders, a great granddaughter Alexandria Dukes and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son Thomas D. Anders, two sisters Betty Sue Thomas and Lou McGrath and two brothers Jake Weddle and Bill Weddle.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
