Arlene F. Pleasants, 65, of Rhodesdale passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at her home. She was born in Church Creek on July 9, 1951 and was a daughter of the late Freeland Edward Phillips and Margaret Pharr Phillips.
Arlene graduated from Cambridge High School. On February 22, 1973, she married Thomas L. Pleasants. She was owner with her husband in United Construction Company. Arlene enjoyed volunteering her time with Healing Hands and Snip Tuck.
She is survived by her husband Thomas L. Pleasants of Rhodesdale, two sons Thomas R. “T.R.” Pleasants and wife Wendy of Hurlock and Brian Pleasants of Delaware, two granddaughters Allison Pleasants and Maddie Pleasants, two brothers Edward A. Phillips and wife Judy of Hurlock and Robert "Buzz" Phillips of Cambridge and several nieces and nephews.
At Arlene’s request there will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Healing Hands Animal Hospital, c/o Dr. Carrol Lewis, 727 E. Main Street, Salisbury, MD 21804. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
