Audie M. Hardy, 62, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at his home. He was born in Salisbury on September 28, 1954 and was a son of the late William E. and Elva Mae Driscoll Hardy.
He attended school at Wicomico High School. On August 2, 2009, he married the former Deborah Knauer. He had worked for the Daily Times in Salisbury and he was a press operator. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 91, and the American Indian Movement Lancaster Chapter.
He is survived by his wife Deborah Knauer-Hardy, two sons Audie Hardy II and wife Michelle, Jason Hardy and wife Kari, a step daughter Christy Cooke, a special grandson Trey Watson III, two grandchildren Christian Insley and wife Trystin of Salisbury, and Caitlyn and wife Lane Miller, two great grandchildren, mother of his children Brenda Hardy, a sister Diatra Lewis and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Mr. Hardy is preceded in death by a sister and two brothers Brenda Hall, John Hardy and William Hardy.
