Audrey Ratcliffe

Audrey Chandler Ratcliffe, 69, of Linkwood passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at her home. She was born in Rhode Island on February 15, 1945 to the late Joshua and Nora Carroll Chandler.

Mrs. Ratcliffe worked as a clerk for Hubbards Pharmacy. She enjoyed helping others, reading, cooking, and loved to spend time with her dog Puggers. She was a Member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness Church in Cambridge.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years Anthony L. Ratcliffe of Linkwood, three sons Ernie Baynum and wife Sherry of Harrington, DE, Jimmy Baynum and wife Suzan of Greenwood, DE, and Billy Swiggett, Jr. and wife Tammy of Dover, DE, one daughter Carol Fowler and husband Ken of Texas, two step daughters Sharon Mills and husband David of Salisbury and Kim Ratcliffe of Cambridge, twenty grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two brothers Gilbert Chandler and Carl O’Brien, three sisters Gale Cash, Linda Hall and Tina, three sister in laws Marie Vogel and husband Karl of Williamsburg, Joyce Merritt of Hurlock and Barbara Stewart and husband Calvert of Cambridge, her beloved dog Puggers and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers Kenny Chandler and Jack Chandler.

Pallbearers will be Kellan Jackson, Korey Jackson, Matt Coffey, Josh DiSalvo, Billy Swiggett, Jr. and Jimmy Baynum.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at East New Market Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613.
