Audrey O. Willey, 90, of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Memorial Hospital at Easton. She was born in Baltimore on September 4, 1921 and was a daughter of the late Orion S. Parker and Anna Frischknecht Parker.
Mrs. Willey graduated from Cambridge High School. On October 21, 1939, she married Edward Willey. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Willey enjoyed her family, music, playing the piano in a Quartet, traveling and gardening. She was a member of Jubilee Christian Fellowship.
She is survived by her husband Edward Willey of Cambridge, a son Gerald Willey and wife Faye of Huntingtown, MD, a daughter Vera Long and husband Dick of Derby, Vermont, four grandchildren Vonnie Willey, Ed Willey, Richie Long and Kim Luthy, eight great grandchildren, three sisters and a brother Vera McClain of Cleveland, TN, Leah Collier of Greer, SC, Mary Fields of Jonesboro, GA and Paul Parker of Dallas, GA and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mrs. Willey is preceded in death by a sister Beth Mazella and two brothers Virgil Parker and Orion Parker.
Pallbearers will be Carroll Handley, Richie Long, Ed Willey, John Luthy, Phillip Willey and Dean Willey.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 26, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Pastor George W. Wheatley, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to Jubilee Christian Fellowship, P.O.
