Barbara J. Killough, 73, of East New Market passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. She was born in Easton on March 15, 1941 and was a daughter of the late William "Bill" W. Reid and Rebecca Perry Reid.
Barbara graduated from North Dorchester High School class of 1959. She was a switchboard operator at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford. Barbara was a member of Unity Washington United Methodist Church in Hurlock.
She is survived by three sons Bill Killough, Jr. of Virginia, Brian Killough and wife Christine of Rising Sun and Ryan Killough and partner Will Burger of Grasonville, three grandchildren Joshua, Morgan and Justin, three close cousins Mary, Bonnie and Sally, three nephews Jason, Jessie and Don and other family members from New York. Besides her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by two brothers William W. Reid, Jr. and Donald L. Reid, Sr. and granddaughter Jacklyn Killough.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at 3 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Lloyd Foard officiating. Family will receive friends from 2 to 3. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Friends of Jacki, 129 Chads Way, Port Deposit, MD 21904.
