Barbara Helen (Brown) Stewart
March 8, 1938 — January 12, 2016
Barbara H. Stewart, 77, of Brunswick passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at UMSMC at Dorchester. She was born in Cumberland on March 8, 1938 to the late George and Dorothy Davis Brown.
Mrs. Stewart attended Fort Hill High School in Cumberland. She enjoyed playing Bingo and crocheting.
Barbara is survived by her children Anna Grossnickle of Taylors Island, Lawrence Swanger and wife Mary of Brunswick, John Stewart and wife Angel of Brunswick, William Stewart and wife Christa of Rochester, New York, Robert Stewart and wife Kat of Greenville, North Carolina, and Elizabeth Swartz and husband Kevin of Greenville, North Carolina, thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and a brother Gerald Brown and wife Sue of Cumberland. Besides her husband and her parents she is preceded in death by four siblings Robert Brown, Jack Brown, Frank Brown and Myrtle Lumbardo.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
