Barbara Ziegler

Barbara Ziegler was born May 18, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Rebecca Leonard Ziegler and G. Raymond Ziegler. Her twin brother preceded her in death in 2008. Barbara graduated from the Randolph-Mason Woman's College, worked at the Department of Medicine, Johns Hopkins Hospital with Dr. A.M. Harvey; Department of Pediatrics, University Hospital with Dr. E. Bradley and the Maryland State Bureau of Laboratories as Branch Chief of the Cambridge Laboratory.
After retirement from the medical field she became a well known artist having one-person shows, winning ribbons and awards. Her paintings may be found throughout the state and abroad.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Cambridge Cemetery with Rev. Robert Gribbon officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a favorite charity. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
