Benjamin F. Parks

Benjamin F. Parks, 84, of Cambridge passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Anchorage Nursing Home in Salisbury. He was born in Cambridge on July 16, 1935 and was a son of the late George Robbins and Ruby Parks.

Mr. Parks graduated from Cambridge High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Parks worked at Frank Wrights, and worked for several automobiles businesses. On November 11, 1957, he married the former Elizabeth “Betty Ann” Jones, who passed away on October 20, 2014. He loved his kittens and would go to different areas in town to food the stray cats. Mr. Parks was a member of the American Legion Post 91.

He is survived by two daughters Vicki Lynn Parks of Woolford and Tracie Lynn Parks of Cambridge. Besides his parents and his wife, he is preceded in death by a brother Sonny Parks.

A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date at the Jones Family Cemetery on Pig Neck Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613.
