Betty E. (Windsor) Bechtel

Betty E. Bechtel, 59, of Church Creek passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at UMSMC at Dorchester. She was born in Upper Marlboro on September 14, 1959 and was a daughter of the late Alfred E. and Marion Smith Windsor.

Mrs. Bechtel attended schools in Caroline County.  She was a stay at home mom and enjoyed reading and using her computer.

She is survived by her husband John Bechtel, her children Elizabeth E. Bradley, Ashley E. Bechtel and Jesse J. Bechtel, grandchildren Victoria Bradley, Emily Hill, Emma Creighton, William Hill,  a son in law William Hill, Jr., soon to be son in law Chris Moore, a brother Edward Windsor, a sister Mary Hubbard and several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Mrs. Bechtel is preceded in death by a brother John Windsor.

Pallbearers will be Nick Bechtel, Chris Moore, Billy Hill, Henry Teets, Sr. Henry Teets, Jr. and Patrick Kaine.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 12 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Joe Kelly officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
