Betty Mae Ferguson

Betty Mae Ferguson, 84, passed away on September 18, 2013 at Dorchester General Hospital. She was born in Bishops Head on December 29, 1928 to the late Freeland Eberman and Suzie Mills Pritchett.

Mrs. Ferguson enjoyed cleaning, listening to Johnny Cash, country music, and attending church. She married the late Medford Robinson in 1946. After his passing, she married the late John Ferguson in 1972.

She is survived by two sons Wayne Robinson and wife Thedus of Cambridge, Jeffrey Robinson and wife Judy of Torrance, CA, one step son Dr. Jack Ferguson of Wisconsin one grandchild Adam Robinson and wife Chrissy of Austin TX, one great granddaughter Claudia Robinson of Austin, TX, two sisters Peggy Robinson of Cambridge and Dorothy Adkins of Linkwood, her beloved cat Buddy and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband's and her parents, Mrs. Ferguson is preceded in death by two step daughters Ruth Simone and Sally Kuhut and four brothers Eugene Pritchett, Waddell Pritchett, Phillip Pritchett and Webster Pritchett,

Pallbearers will be James Adkins, Scott Adkins, Keith Adkins, Ronnie Richardson, Bryan Pritchett, Jay Robinson and Jacob Robinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Tull and Clarence Pritchett.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 23, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Mary Ann Farnell officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Thomas United Methodist Church, 1817 Crocheron Rd. Bishops Head, MD 21672, c/o Phyllis Mills.
