Betty J. (Jones) Sheets

CAMBRIDGE – Betty Jones Sheets, 94, was born January 8, 1923. She passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Mallard Bay Care Center in Cambridge, MD.

She was the daughter of the late Reginald and Elizabeth Jones of Cambridge. Betty is survived by her grandchildren Jamie (Busick) Hinkle and husband Wesley; Tatiana Aldridge and husband Anthony; Jordan Wells; and, Jessica Thompson. She is also survived by her daughter Stephanie Reardon; nephews Gee McClain, and Bobby McClain and wife Gail; and, nieces Barbara and Pat.

Betty was a retired supervisor with the US Selective Service. A position she spoke about with pride, even in retirement. She was a staunch and proud Eastern Shore and Cambridge native. Whether while living in Annapolis or on adventures in Vermont with her grandchildren, there was no doubt that home was Cambridge. The air quality improved east bound across the Bay. There is reassurance that Betty was dancing and humming a tune, with a jovial, loving smile, all the way to Heaven.
