Betty Lou Turner

Betty Lou Turner, 80, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at UMSMC at Dorchester. She was born in Church Creek on August 9, 1933 to the late Arthur E. and Ludie M. Hughes Hatfield.

Betty graduated from Cambridge High School. She worked as a pattern marker at Rob Roy. She married Charles H. Turner on April 10, 1980. Betty attended Cambridge Wesleyan Church.

Mrs. Turner is survived by her husband, three sons Mark Wheatley and wife Becky of Cambridge, Bobby Wheatley and wife Sharon of Secretary, and Steve Wheatley and wife Debbie of West Virginia, seven grandchildren Samantha, Steven, Brianne, Emily, Noah, Katelyn and Zebrielle, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Jack Diehl officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
