Bobbie Sue Swann, 58, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015 at UMSMC at Easton. She was born in Cambridge on April 26, 1957 and was a daughter of the late James P. Lomax, Sr. and Barbara Newton Lomax.
Bobbie Sue graduated from Cambridge High School. On February 26, 1982, she married Dutch Swann. She was a house wife. Bobbie Sue enjoyed the beach, gardening, boat races and playing horseshoes.
She is survived by her husband Dutch Swann of Cambridge, a son Ryan Swann and wife Gina of South Carolina, grandchildren Ryan M. Swann, Alexis Swann and Christopher Chrivia, a brother James “Mickey” Lomax, Jr. and wife Valerie of Rhodesdale, a sister Linda Morris and fiancee Randy Adona of Upper Marlboro, aunt Doris Insley of Cambridge and two nieces Amber Aaron and Lindsey Morris, a nephew Nick Lomax, her favorite cat Blue Eyes and several cousins. Besides her parents, Bobbie Sue is preceded in death by a aunt Linda Rosemere and a uncle James E. Insley.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Swann, Dickey Swann, Michael Swann, Mark Hastings, Patrick Hurley and Derek Coleman.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Sumner Jones officiating. Interment will follow at East New Market Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service.
