Bonnie M. Griffiths

Bonnie M. Griffiths, 60, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at UMSMC at Easton. She was born in Cambridge on August 10, 1953 and was a daughter of Edith Stewart Hubbard and the late William Donald Hubbard.

She attended schools in Cambridge and in Hudson. On Feb. 9, 1973, she married John Griffiths. Bonnie was a homemaker and enjoyed canning, puzzles, card games and cooking. She was a member of the Salvation Army in Cambridge.

She is survived by her husband John Griffiths of Cambridge, three daughters Heather Erickson and husband Kenneth of Cambridge, Jeannie Lewis and husband Stephen of Golden Hill and Sarah Griffiths and special friend Matthew Kline of Cambridge, three grandchildren Jasmine Thompson, Cassidy Thompson and Kara Erickson, her mother Edith Hubbard of East New Market, two brothers Stephen Hubbard and wife Christine of Harmony and Russell Hubbard and wife Evelyn of East New Market and several nieces and nephews. Besides her father, Bonnie is preceded in death by a brother Joseph Allen Hubbard.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Lewis, Kenneth Erickson, Russell Hubbard, Joseph Hubbard, Joshua Hubbard and Matthew Kline.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Major Brooks Gilliam and Rev. Buddy Dunn officiating. Interment will follow at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Salvation Army, P.O.
