Brenda L. Chamberlain

Brenda L. Chamberlain, 74, of Cambridge passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024 at her home. She was born in Virginia on February 18, 1949 to the late Mack and Mary Whitt Hopkins.

 

Mrs. Chamberlain graduated from high school in Baltimore City. On April 13, 1981 she married Joseph B. Chamberlain who passed away on August 7, 2011. She worked as an Instructional Assistant at Denton Elementary School and also at Denton Child Development Center. Mrs. Chamberlain loved her grandchildren and watching TV. She also enjoyed being a volunteer at the Grandparents Club at White Marsh Elementary in Trappe. 

 

She is survived by three children Richard O. Bailey, Jr. of West Virginia, Candace Towers of Preston and Anna Chamberlain of Easton, eight grandchildren Devon, Skylar, Rebecca, Thomas, Kayla, Mckenzie, Destiny, Katlyn, and Justin and five great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Chamberlain is preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

 

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 1pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the WMES Grandparents Club, 4322 Lovers Lane, Trappe, MD 21673 or Mid Shore Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 474, Easton, MD 21601.
