Brenda Lee (Creighton) Wright

Brenda L. Wright, 58, of Fishing Creek passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at University of Maryland Medical Center. She was born in Cambridge on December 14, 1956 to the late Capt. Samuel E. and Ida M. Brittingham Creighton.

Mrs. Wright graduated from South Dorchester High School class of 1974. Brenda married Stephen Willey on February 14, 1997. She worked as a Criminal Clerk for the District Court in Cambridge for 24 years. Mrs. Wright enjoyed going to flee markets, car shows, gardening and loved to watch her daughters and grandchildren participate in activities. She was a member of the Hosier Memorial United Methodist Church.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 18 years Stephen Willey of Fishing Creek, daughters Melissa Masaracchia and husband Jon and Ashley Dolinger and husband Nick both of Cambridge, grandchildren Samuel Masaracchia and Claire Dolinger and a sister Rebecca Gurey of Salisbury. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by a niece Donna Gurey.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Douglas Ridley officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
