C. Sydney Bradley

C. Sydney Bradley, 81, of East New Market passed away on Friday, June 26, 2009 at Mallard Bay Care Center. He was born in Secretary on July 10, 1927 and was a son of the late William Clarence and Lena Saunders Bradley.
Syd graduated from East New Market High School and also from Goldey Beacom College in Wilmington, DE. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Syd had worked and managed several convenience stores and also worked as a supervisor at Delmarva Collections in Salisbury. Syd had attended several churches including, Secretary United Methodist Church, Unity Washington United Methodist Church and Trinity United Methodist Church in East New Market. He was a past member of the Federalsburg Lions Club.
Syd is survived by several nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Syd is preceded in death by a sister Ethel Ray and four brothers Doyle Bradley, Milton "Mitt" Bradley, George E. "Yah" Bradley and William "Deek" C. Bradley, Jr.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 11 a.m. at East New Market Cemetery with Rev. A. Delmer Willey, Jr. officiating. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
