Carlos David Camacho-Ruiz, Sr., 46 of Easton, passed away at the Memorial Hospital at Easton on Saturday, October 17, 2009. He was born in Puerto Rico on August 6, 1963, and was a son of the late Angel Luis Camacho Martinez and Maria D'Los Angeles Ruiz.
He attended schools in Puerto Rico. He moved to the United States in 1986. On June 9, 2005 he was married to the former Yolanda Potter. He had worked at Tidewater Foundry for a number of years. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. He has been in failing health for the past four years, and had been a patient at the Memorial Hospital at Easton where he passed away on Saturday afternoon.
Survivors include his wife Yolanda Camacho of Easton, one daughter Angela Maria Camacho Ruiz of Easton, and one son Carlos David Camacho-Ruiz, Jr. of Easton, two step children Michael Lindsay III and his wife Lauren of Easton and Robin Flamer of Easton and two god children Sierra Ross and Andrew Thurman. He is also survived by three sisters Yvonne D'Los Angeles Camacho Ruiz and her husband Rudy Rivera of Puerto Rico, Ivelisse D'Lourdes Camacho Ruiz of Poinciana, Florida, Diana Magdalena Camacho Ruiz of Easton and two brothers Angel Luis Camacho Ruiz, Jr. of Easton and Marco Antonio Camacho Ruiz, who he was particularly close to, and his wife Georgetta Camacho of Trappe and 13 nieces and nephews including a special niece Alexandra Rodriguez Camacho of Easton.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 PM at the Easton Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Fentress A. Hickman officiating. Interment will follow at the Richardson Memorial Park in Easton. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Aguilar, Juan Martinez, Angel L. Camacho, Jr., Juan Vazquez, Roberto Camacho and Hermian Rasin. Arrangements are being handled by the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
