Carol Ann (Latshaw) Andrews

April 27, 1944 — November 6, 2015

Carol Ann Latshaw Andrews, 71, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, November 6, 2015 at her home with family by her side. She was born in Sewickley, PA on April 27, 1944 and was a daughter of the late John F. Latshaw, Sr. and Bessie Cross Latshaw.

She graduated from West Allegany High School class of 1962. On February 15, 1963, she married Weldon David Andrews. After the family moved from Pittsburgh, PA in November 1980, Mrs. Andrews worked outside of the home for ten years.  She went back to her most enjoyable job of wife and mom, and was available whenever needed.  She enjoyed reading, singing, crossword puzzles and knitting. Mrs. Andrews was a member of First Baptist Church. The family would like the public to know how grateful they are to Coastal Hospice for the important service they rendered to Carol Andrews and her family.

She is survived by her husband Weldon David Andrews of Cambridge, six children David B. Andrews and wife Kim of Cambridge, Rebecca L. Andrews-Webster and husband Tim of Cambridge, Patricia E. Lauck and husband Hank of Linkwood, James D. Andrews and wife Linda of Federalsburg, Lisa M. Young and husband Philander of Cambridge, Brenda S. Booze and husband Richard of Georgia, twenty one grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, one brother and five sisters, Alice Boel and husband Rev. Dennis Boel, John Latshaw, Jr. and wife Janet, Karen Kroepil and husband Skip, Linda Latshaw, Patricia Redick and husband Paul, Sandy Werme and husband Russ all of Pennsylvania as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Hank Lauck, Phil Young, Tim Webster, Timmy Webster II, David Andrews, Matthew Andrews, and James Andrews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 1 p.m. with a viewing one hour prior at the First Baptist Church in Cambridge with Pastor Steve Trice officiating. Interment will follow at East New Market Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Coastal Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.  Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
