Carolyn Bell Jones

Carolyn Bell Jones, 93, of Toddville passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at her home with her loving daughter by her side. She was born in Toddville on January 4, 1931 and was a daughter of the late Charles and Ada Mills Todd.

Mrs. Jones graduated from Crapo High School class of 1947. On January 5, 1957, she married William Allan “Tut” Jones, who passed away on September 6, 2013. She was a crab picker for various crab houses. Mrs. Jones enjoyed gardening, the children in the neighborhood, watching T.V., shopping, crocheting and cooking. She attended Zion United Methodist Church in Toddville. A special thank you to Brittney, Lakishia, Billie Jo, Amanda, and Dana all with Coastal Hospice. 

She is survived by her daughter Melody Pritchett and husband Ronnie of Toddville, god grandchildren Michael Tolley II and Taylor Tolley, two god great grandchildren Nola and Raelynne, a special nephew Keith Todd and wife Mary of East New Market and several other nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by a son Michael Allan Jones, a godson Michael Tolley, six brothers and two sisters. 

Per Mrs. Jones request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Coastal Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21804.
