Catherine "Kitty" Virginia (Greene) Cusick

Catherine “Kitty” V. Cusick, 101, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Mallard Bay Care Center. She was born in Mardela on August 31, 1913 and was a daughter of the late Hilary and Mary Ethel Seabrease Greene.

She attended schools in Cambridge and Wilmington, DE. On November 30, 1960 she married William James Cusick who passed away on May 23, 1988. Kitty had worked at F.W. Woolworth in Cambridge and later at Airpax until she retired in 1973. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, American Legion Post 91 Auxiliary, Women of the Moose, Eastern Shore State Hospital Auxiliary, Choptank Memorial Post 7460 V.F.W. and A.A.R.P.

She is survived by a special cousin Evelyn Thomas and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Mrs. Cusick is preceded in death by a brother Ralph Greene and a half brother Nelson McGrath.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 3 p.m. at East New Market Cemetery with Rev. A. Delmer Willey, Jr. officiating.
