Chandrawati (Harripersaud) Bissoondat

Chandrawati Bissoondat (also known as Cola), 85, of Silver Spring MD, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Crabwood Creek, Berbice, Guyana on September 29, 1937 and was a daughter of the late Baban and Ramkumarnie Harripersaud.

She married Bissoon Dat, who passed away on December 25, 2021.

She is survived by five children Shanta Ludwick of Cambridge, Sabo (Sevi) Bissoondat of Silver Spring, Devendra (Tona) Dat and wife Dato of Baltimore, Debbie Nolan and husband Rodney of Dallas, TX, Eyon Dat and wife Sonia of Silver Spring, six grandchildren Vishal, Dave, Ravi and wife Cristal, Jason and wife Taylor, Nalynie, Naryan, and a great granddaughter Victoria, two sisters Florie Munz and Lelia Dindiyal and one brother Kesh Harriparshad and by various nieces, nephews and other family members. Preceded in death by son in law Geoffrey Ludwick, two late brothers Madho and Jagdeo Harripersaud and Betlin Rampersaud.

A viewing and a religious service will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 10am to 1pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge, followed by a graveside at Dorchester Memorial Park.
