Charles "Charlie" Edward Newnam, Jr.

Charles “Charlie” E. Newnam, Jr., 33, of Snow Hill passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. He was born in Cambridge on May 6, 1983 and was a son of Lisa Collins Hubbard and the late Charles E. Newnam, Sr.

He graduated from Snow Hill High School class of 2002. At the time of his passing, Charlie was employed by Amick in Hurlock. He loved his children, was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by three children Brianna Newnam, Charles E. Newnam III, and Kyleigh Newnam, his mother Lisa Hubbard and husband Rodney of Preston, two sisters Candy Newnam and fiancé Martin of Snow Hill, and Becky Willey of Snow Hill, two brothers  Matt Newnam of North Carolina and Christopher Newnam of Snow Hill, paternal grandmother Shirley Newnam of Cambridge, maternal grandmother Verna Humphries of Greensboro, MD, maternal grandfather Leon Collins of Seaford, DE, very close uncle Dale Newnam of Hurlock, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his father, Charlie is preceded in death by his stepmother Sharon Newnam, paternal grandfather Ronald Newnam, Sr.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 11 am at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Pastor Danny Jackson officiating. Interment will be at 2 pm at Bates Cemetery in Snow Hill. Family will receive friends from 10 to 11.
