Charles G. “Bo” Linthicum, Jr., 56, of Hurlock passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022 at UMSMC at Dorchester. He was born on February 2, 1966 in Madison and was a son of Dorothy Aaron and his stepfather the late Carl Shockley.
Bo graduated from Cambridge South Dorchester High School class of 1985. From 1989 to 1997, he was a combine mechanic for Jones Implement and Rio Del Mar. On June 10, 1989, he married the former Robin Bramble. In 2000, he and his wife were school bus contractors until 2015 and then Bo was employed with Dorchester County Board of Education as a Special Ed School Bus Operator. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to the dirt track, and riding his motorcycle with his wife. Bo was member of Madison Volunteer Fire Company.
He is survived by his wife Robin Linthicum of Hurlock, four children Jon Linthicum and wife Savana of Rhodesdale, Steven Linthicum and wife Jordan of Vienna, Catherine “Cati” Linthicum of Cambridge and Nathan Linthicum of Hurlock, his mother Dorothy Aaron of Cambridge, three sisters Frances Windsor, Tracy Ruark and husband Scott, and Contina Kniffen and husband Jeff, mother in law Donna Bramble of Cambridge, a brother in law Edwin Bramble, a sister in law Ruth Bramble and several nieces and nephews. Besides his step father, Bo is preceded in death by his father in law Theodore “Teddy” Bramble who he thought of as a father.
Pallbearers will be Scott Ruark, Kobi Ruark, Tim Gore, Todd Era, Benny Horseman, and John Simmons.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 1pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A in Cambridge with Rev. Douglas M. Ridley officiating. Interment will follow at Old Trinity Churchyard. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Madison Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 23, Madison, MD 21648.
