Charlotte Rosalie (Thomas) Oliver

Charlotte R. Oliver, 83, of Madison passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015 at Mallard Bay Care Center. She was born in New Martinsville, W. VA on June 10, 1931 and was a daughter of the late Lannis Thomas and Olive Beaver Thomas.

Charlotte attended schools in Baltimore County. On December 24, 1957, she married Thomas C. Oliver, Jr., who passed away on September 17, 2000. She worked at Bendix in Virginia, and later she owned Rivera Beach Sunset Tropical Fish Store, Rivera Beach, MD for 25 years and she was very faithful in her religion.

She is survived by three sons Thomas C. Oliver III and wife Linda of Madison and James L. Oliver and wife Lauren of Severna Park, Thomas C. Knoerlein and wife Leah of Joppatown, a granddaughter Brandi Oliver and numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren, a brother Ronald "Bud" Thomas and wife Christine of Havre de Grace and a sister JoAnne Miller and husband Edward of Joppatown and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Oliver is preceded in death by a daughter Diane Calderone and a son Robert Thomas.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Old Trinity Church with Father Dan Dunlap officiating. Interment will follow at the churchyard. Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimers Association, 909 Progress Circle Ste. 400, Salisbury, MD  21804.
