Chester L. Lauck

Chester L. Lauck, 87, of Cambridge passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Spa Creek in Annapolis. He was born in Secretary on January 28, 1936 and was a son of the late James W. Lauck, Sr. and Rosalee Willoughby Lauck.

Mr. Lauck attended school in Secretary. He worked at the National Can Company in Cambridge for many years. Mr. Lauck also worked on the water with his sons. He was married to the late Ellen Adkins Lauck.  Mr. Lauck enjoyed riding around town with his son Don Don.

He is survived by daughter Bonnie Lauck of Texas, daughter Jackie Cook and husband Cliff of Pennsylvania, son Donald D. “Don Don” Lauck of Cambridge, daughter Nancy Lauck of Cambridge, and a son Eric Taylor and several grandchildren and great grandchildren, his siblings Loboy, Bill Hanks, Patsy, Helen Ruth, Lily Jane and Edie and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and his wife, Chester is preceded in death by two sons Richard Lauck and Chester Sydney Lauck and three brothers Al Lauck, Mickey Lauck and James Wayne “Dugar” Lauck, Sr.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 1pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Steve Bloodsworth officiating. Interment will follow at East New Market Cemetery.
