Conrad J. Rosemere, Jr.

Conrad J. Rosemere, Jr., 86, of Cambridge passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Caroline Nursing Home in Denton. He was born on November 5, 1936 in Cambridge to the late Conrad J. Rosemere, Sr. and Fredricka Barton Rosemere.

Mr. Rosemere attended schools in Cambridge and graduated from Bullis School Class of 1954 in Potomac, MD, and went to Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy class of 1958. He worked as a Marine Surveyor for Bethlehem Steel Shipyard and Hull & Cargo Surveyors and retired in 1999. On April 7, 1960, he married the former Linda Newton who passed away on August 15, 1997. He enjoyed sailing, and his animals. He was a member of the Maryland Marine Club and the Eastern Shore Society.

He is survived by two daughters Stephanie "Tracy" Berrigan and husband Tim of Denton and Nancy Baldwin and husband Rick of New Oxford, PA, two grandchildren James Berrigan and wife Katie and their daughter Abigail of Frederick, MD and Elizabeth A. Baldwin and partner Aaron Seidel of Selinsgrove, PA, a sister Elena Shahan of Salisbury, brother Jack Rosemere and wife Nanelle of Cambridge, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and his wife, Mr. Rosemere is preceded in death by a sister Gretchen Singleton.

A funeral service will be private at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Daniel Gedman officiating. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613.
