Constance J. Dodson

Constance J. Dodson, 79, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, August 31, 2012 at Dorchester General Hospital. She was born in Cambridge on March 13, 1933 to the late Russell and Ruth Bangert Stack.
Mrs. Dodson attended school in Cambridge. On November 6, 1993 she married James E. "Peaches" Dodson, who passed away on January 26, 2011. She worked for several retail stores in Cambridge and enjoyed going to flea markets.
She is survived by her two sons Gregory Detamore of Hawaii and Ricky Condon of Trappe, three stepdaughters Barbara Daniels of North Carolina, Kathy Graham of South Carolina and Vera Insley of Arizona, a grandson Lucas Condon of Trappe, 11 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, a sister Nancy Hudson and companion Buck Travers of East New Market, a brother Russell Stack and wife Sara of Cambridge, a special niece Natalie Hudson-Sard of Cambridge and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Dodson is preceded in death by a brother Gene Stack and a sister Ruth Dayton.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at East New Market Cemetery with Rev. A. Delmer Willey, Jr. officiating. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
