Daniel L. Woolford, 60, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at his home. He was born in Kent County on April 8, 1951 and was a son of the late Roland C. and Bertha Mowbray Woolford.
Danny graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1969. He was a truck driver for Schneider Trucking Company. He loved to play music throughout the United States as a bass guitar player. He enjoyed crabbing, sailing and working on cars.
He is survived by a daughter Danielle Woolford-Badur of Harrington, DE, a sister Tina Marie Risbon of Delmar, DE. Besides his parents, Danny is preceded in death by a brother Robert C. Woolford.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. J. Edward King officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Heart Fund, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
