David R. Chilton

David R. Chilton, Sr., 62, of Cambridge, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Hospice of Queen Annes in Centreville. He was born on August 2, 1951 in Harford County to the late George Ransom and Hilda Keller Chilton.

David grew up on My Ladies Manor in Harford County. He worked as a master plumber for Madison Mechanical. Mr. Chilton was a semi professional baseball player for Johnny's, an avid Orioles and Ravens fan and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a sophomore at John Lewis University. David was allergic to alcohol, poison ivy and bull shit.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Pirie Woods Chilton of Cambridge, a son David R. Chilton, Jr. and wife O'Zella of Catonsville, a daughter Sarah Chilton and fiancAC. David Harris of Stone Hill, two grandchildren Adam and Emily Chilton, a mother in law Betty B. Woods of Stone Hill, a sister Donna Raul of Kingsville, a niece Tammy Raul and a nephew Travis Raul of Kingsville and a granddog Roxanne.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2014 at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. Memorial contributions may be made to the Neck District Volunteer Fire Company, 945 Cooks Point Rd., Cambridge, MD 21613. Arrangements are in the care of Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
