David A. Todd

David A. Todd, 64, of Cambridge passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at his home.  He was born in Cambridge on September 12, 1957 to William A. Todd and the late Shirley Newcomb Todd.

David graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1975.  He went on to attend Chesapeake Community College and Salisbury University.  He also worked for many years in the IT department with Chesapeake Community College.  David was an excellent photographer, was a member of the Wednesday Morning Artists, Tidewater Camera Club, and Baywater Camera Club, and he had a deep love for his cats.

He is survived by his father William A. Todd and his wife Bernese of Federalsburg; his sister Donna Sanson of Chesapeake, VA; nieces and nephews Stephanie Luce, Chris Luce, and Brian Sanson; great niece and nephew Harper and Abram; a half brother Donnie Robbins of Laurel, DE; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members.  David is preceded in death by his mother Shirley Todd.

A celebration of David’s life will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 12 PM at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge, MD with Rev. Chris Pettit officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Kitty Kat Kottage, c/o Diana Rathell, 3711 Elliott Drive, East New Market, MD 21631.
