Deborah M. Bock

Deborah M. "Debbie" Bock, 53 of Salisbury, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on Monday September 20, 2010 at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. She was born in Cambridge on May 12, 1957, and was a daughter of Herbert A. Moore, Jr. and Frances Schaefer Moore.

She attended schools in Cambridge, and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1975. Debbie also attended and graduated from Salisbury State University and later earned her Master's Degree. She had been a school teacher at the Fruitland Primary School and later at the Willards Elementary School. Debbie later worked in Special Education working with children who had learning disabilities. She enjoyed cooking, making candy and doing crafts. She also enjoyed volunteering with the Children's Theater of Delmarva. Debbie was a devoted mother, daughter and sister. She had been in failing health for several years and had been a patient at PRMC for two weeks when she passed away on Monday morning.

Survivors include two daughters Sarah M. Bock and Jenna M. Bock both of Salisbury, her mother and father Frances Moore and Herbert Moore of Cambridge, one sister Terry Hogan and her husband Jim Hogan of Preston, one brother Ricky G. Moore of Cambridge, one niece Misha Hogan of Preston, two cousins Mark Hurley of Houston, Texas and Gary Foxwell of Salisbury.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with the Rev. Dustin Ives officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during the hour preceding the service. Pallbearers will be Carroll Larrimore, Mike Foxwell, Chris Foxwell, Kemper Cave, Kenny Smith and Bob Owens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation of Maryland, 110 Painters Mill Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117.
