Deborah A. Meek, 59, of Cambridge passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016 at her home. She was born in Baltimore on April 11, 1957 and was a daughter of the late John Joseph Meek and Elizabeth Vipperman Meek.
Deborah was raised in Pasadena and attended Northeast High School. She lived in Pasadena for over 30 years. Later, Deborah moved to Wingate with her parents until her health started to decline and moved to Cambridge. She enjoyed going to Pleasant Day Adult Day Care for the last 12 years.
Deborah is survived by a sister in law Cheryl Mallon and husband Gary of Pasadena, a niece Donna Wright and husband Thomas of Glen Burnie and a great nephew William Joseph Wright. Besides her parents, Deborah is preceded in death by a brother John Joseph Meek, Jr.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at 2:30 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Pastor George W. Wheatley, Jr. officiating. Family will receive friends from 12 to 2:30. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Deborah’s name to Pleasant Day Adult Day Care, 2474 Cambridge Beltway, Cambridge, MD 21613.
