Delores M. Fitzhugh

Delores M. Fitzhugh, 78, of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at her home. She was born in Federalsburg on August 6, 1934 and was a daughter of the late Maude Wroten Hurley and Everett F. Griffin.

Delores graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1953. She worked at DuPont's in Seaford and later at Airpax with 21 years of service. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her hobbies were collecting salt and pepper shakers. She was a member of the VFW ladies auxiliary.

She is survived by three daughters Lisa Adkins and husband Billy of Cambridge, Jeannie Biskach and husband Frank Biskach, Jr. of Cambridge and Shawn Beavan and husband Bernie of Leonardtown, MD, four grandchildren Danielle Hunley and husband Matt, Brian Beavan and fiancAC.e Jerica Hardin, Frank and Morgan Biskach, two great grandchildren Brynn and Emily Hunley, three sisters Vicky Sheets and husband Jim of Evans, CO, Linda Wilson of Cambridge and Carolyn Baumgartner and husband Don of Salisbury, several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with her nephew Brent Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
