Diana Lee (McCarter) Robinson

Diana L. Robinson, 78, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Mallard Bay Care Center. She was born in Cambridge on January 24, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Russell Lee McCarter and Virginia “Shug” Twilley McCarter.
Mrs. Robinson graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1957. On December 21, 1973, she married Robert “Bobby” M. Robinson, who passed away on March 3, 1977. She worked for various business in Cambridge with her last employment being with Heir Loom Antiques. Mrs. Robinson enjoyed gardening, spending time with family, putting puzzles together, antiquing, painting, camping and reading. She was a member Faith Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter Carla J. Lewis and husband Mark of East New Market, two sons Russell H. “Rusty" Riley and wife Lynn of Hurlock and Stephen M. Robinson and wife Cathy of Cambridge, nine grandchildren Laura Lynn James and husband Tim, Crystal Riley, Russell Riley, Jr., Jennifer Riley Bramble and husband Jeremy, Tyler Lewis, Logan Robinson, Chyenne Robinson, Brice Robinson and Landon Lewis, and thirteen great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Mrs. Robinson is preceded in death by a son Mark T. Riley.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Riley, Russell Riley, Stephen Robinson, Logan Robinson, Mark Lewis and Tyler Lewis.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 1 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Randall T. Blackmon officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 12 to 1.
