Donald Burgoyne Cannon, Jr.

Donald “Donnie” B. Cannon, Jr., 52, of Cambridge passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017 at his home. He was born in Cambridge on November 19, 1964 and was a son of the late Donald B. Cannon, Sr. and Shirley Bush Cannon.
He attended Cambridge South Dorchester High School. Donnie was a waterman in his earlier years and later was a professional painter. He enjoyed music, where he played in a band named Twisted Fate.
He is survived by a sister Debra Lynn Cannon of Riva, MD, a fiancé Valerie Anderson of Cambridge, two daughters Desserae B. Cannon of Baltimore and Amber R. Cannon of Annapolis, a step daughter Ashley Greenhawk of Cambridge, five grandchildren, three uncles Robert Cannon, Timmy Cannon and wife Peggy and Eldridge Cannon all of Cambridge and numerous cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 1 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Pastor Dave Talley of Grace Baptist Church officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Thomas Funeral Home, P.A., 700 Locust Street, Cambridge, MD 21613 to help defray funeral cost.
