Donald M. Beaulieu

Donald M. Beaulieu “Don”, 79, of Trappe, MD, passed away peacefully and free from pain on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Mallard Bay Nursing and Rehab in Cambridge, MD from cancer. Don survived his late wife, Marilyn E. (Jones) passed on November 19, 2021, whom he married on February 20, 2020. Don and Marilyn spent over 25 years together as a couple and loved each other dearly. Don enjoyed Italian and Steak restaurants, cooking, good music, and made Marilyn laugh all the time. Don adored and loved his dog, Candy. Don was adored by all who met him with his bounteous laughter and love for life. Don was especially close to his stepson, Allan, who shared in the joys of good food and music with him. 

Don is survived by his stepchildren who will miss him dearly, Allan Childs, Joanne Askins, Roxann Childs, and Thomas Childs and his wife, Jennifer. Don was a wonderful “Pepere” to his grandchildren, Alyssa Askins, Nicholas Askins, Ryan Pellerin and his wife, Adrianna, Brandon Pellerin, Adam Ieraci, Alison Childs, Kylie Knight, and Conor Childs. Don was an impressive man with his commitment and service to his country. Don served our country with honor. He was a Master Sargent and Flight Engineer in the US Airforce active from 1962 – 1966 and remained active in the reserves from 1975 – 1989. Don shared many stories of his time in service over a good cup of coffee with great friends and family. 

Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are in the care of Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge, MD. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Veterans Association.
