Doris F. Culver

Doris F. Culver, 74 of Mardela passed away on Monday October 6, 2008 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. She was born in Cambridge on August 2, 1934 and was a daughter of Sarah Vickers Dayton and the late Oscar Dayton.
She graduated from Cambridge High School. Mrs. Culver was married to the late Woodrow Culver. She worked for Campbell Soup in Salisbury for 28 years. She was a member of the American Legion Post 91, Choptank Memorial Post 7460 VFW and the Cambridge Moose.
She is survived by her mother Sarah Dayton of Mardela, aunt Mary Lane of Preston and two cousins Emily Blades of Preston and Brent Blades of Preston.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home in Cambridge with Rev. Nevin Crouse officiating. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
