Doris M. Jackson

Doris M. Jackson, 84, of Cambridge passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Mallard Bay Care Center. She was born in Cambridge on July 3, 1928 to the late Peter C. and Ruby Willey Parks.
She was a homemaker most of her life, but worked as a seamstress for Rob Roy sewing factory for many years. She enjoyed attending church events with her late husband, Benjamin F. Jackson. Mrs. Jackson loved to socialize with friends.
She is survived by her four sons, Cecil Parks and wife Rose of Cambridge, Albert Jr. Stewart of Georgetown, DE, Patrick Parks Stewart and wife Sharron of Atlanta, Georgia, Calvert Stewart and wife Barbara of Cambridge, a daughter Patricia Doris Lane and husband Ronald of Felton, DE, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. with Pastor George Wheatley, Jr. officiating.
