Doris Sheets Rue

Doris Sheets Rue, 85, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, May 14, 2010 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. She was born in Baltimore on August 8, 1924 and was a daughter of the late Ray W. Sheets and Mary Elizabeth Robbins Sheets Parks.
She graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1943. On April 7, 1946 she married Woodrow W. Rue. He passed away on August 5, 1989. A Mrs. Rue enjoyed collecting antiques.
She is survived by two sons Warren C. Rue and Woodrow W. Rue II and his wife Wendy all of Cambridge, a grandson Woodrow W. Rue III of Cambridge, a brother Raymond Sheets of Cambridge, two sister's Dulcie Thamert of Cambridge and Susie Jefferson of Easton and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Rue is preceded in death by a brother Harold Sheets.A
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Old Trinity Churchyard with Rev. Ray Rogers officiating. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
