Dorsey Edward Barrow

Dorsey E. Barrow, 91, of East New Market passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at UMSMC at Easton. He was born in Talbot County on March 17, 1923 and was a son of the late Bernard and Lillian Dyott Barrow.
Mr. Barrow attended schools in St. Michaels. On September 2, 1949, he married the former Dorothy Hurley. Mr. Barrow worked at Cambridge Wire Cloth as a machinist and retired in 1988. He was a motorcycle enthusiast. Mr. Barrow loved his Harley Davidson and enjoyed buying new cars.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Barrow of East New Market, two nephews Jerry Barrow and wife Sharon of Tilghman Island and James “Butch” Barrow and wife Janice of Denton and several other nieces and nephews, a godchild Dorothy Lee Simmons and husband Robert of East New Market. Besides his parents, Mr. Barrow is preceded in death by two brothers Russell and Henry and two sisters Ann and Grace.
At Mr. Barrow request, there will be no services. Memorial contributions can be made to the Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, PA in Cambridge.
