E. Melva Regan, 88, of Cambridge passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Dorchester General Hospital. She was born in Baltimore on October 11, 1922 and was a daughter of the late Leroy and Eleanor Germeroth Trautfelter.
Mrs. Regan graduated from Southern High School in Baltimore. She was married to Ronald K. Regan. He passed away in 1998. She was an owner/ operator of an Antique dealership. She enjoyed collecting antiques. She was a member of the Cambridge Yacht Club, Cambridge Lodge #1272 B.P.O.E. Elks and Choptank Memorial Post 7460 VFW.
She is survived by a daughter C. Ellen Thomas and husband Frank Allan of Denton, her companion Ken Harvey of Cambridge, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Regan is preceded in death by a son Raymond Paul Kerger and three brothers and a sister.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Robert Gribbon officiating. Family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Interment will be private.
