Earl L. Gaugh, 83, of Church Creek passed away at his home on June 27, 2017 with his loving companion Mildred Allard by his side.  He was born in Baltimore County on May 17, 1934 to the late Glenn and Josephine Paddy Gaugh.

Mr. Gaugh served in the United States Navy from 1952 to 1954.  On February 9, 1980, he married the former Verda Cochran, who passed away on December 21, 2008.  Mr. Gaugh worked for the Wells Fargo Alarm Systems company as a Supervisor until he retired. He enjoyed fishing and crabbing, and loved to be on the water.  He loved the Orioles and the Ravens, and he used to coach Little League baseball.  Mr. Gaugh enjoyed traveling, especially to Branson, Florida.  He also enjoyed all kinds of music, but especially enjoyed country.  Mr. Gaugh was a member of the American Legion Overlea Perry Hall Post #0130 for 36 years.  He had many people whom he cared for, but especially regarded John Ciotola as a son.

Mr. Gaugh is survived by his companion of 8 years Mildred Allard, 3 children, a grandchild, 4 step children, close friends John and Kathi Ciotola, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and his wife, he is preceded in death by a sister.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday July 1, 2017 at 3 PM at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge, MD.  Family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of one’s choice.
