Edgar F. Insley, 90, of Bethlehem passed away on Friday, February 10, 2012 at The Pines in Easton. He was born in Lakesville on June 24, 1921 and was a son of the late Thomas H. and Aberta Abbott Insley.
Mr. Insley attended schools in Lakesville. He was married to the former Peggy Travers. She passed away on July 31, 2000. Mr. Insley served in the United State Army during WWII. He worked as a janitor for Dr. Smack in Easton. He was a member of the Greensboro Baptist Church.
He is survived by a son Charles M. Insley and wife Zoe of Stephens City, VA, a daughter Carolyn L. Boone and husband Robert of Moreno Valley, CA, five grandchildren Charles M. Insley, II of Virginia Beach, VA, Joey Boone of Moreno Valley, CA, David Boone of Hemet, CA, Toni Nalley of Lake Stevens, WA and Robert Boone of California and a great granddaughter Nancie Boone of Moreno Valley, CA.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 12p.m. at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Richard Parks officiating. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
