Edna Mae Fraley, 85, of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Chesapeake Woods Center. She was born in Heidleberg, KY on May 9, 1930 and was a daughter of the late William Fraley and Emily Ambrose Fraley Delhae.
Edna Mae graduated from Cambridge High School and later was a devoted nurse for Dr. Albert Bunker. She enjoyed being involved with the First Baptist Church in Cambridge and singing in choir.
She is survived by nieces and nephews Billy Fraley, Jr., Rick Fraley, Teresa Fraley and Gena Fraley, three sisters in law Geneva Fraley, Janet Fraley and Linda Fraley, and a niece Michelle Dietrich. Besides her parents, Ms. Fraley is preceded in death by four brothers William Fraley, Jack Fraley, Billy Fraley, Don Fraley, Sr. and a nephew Michael Fitzhugh.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Cambridge with Pastor Steve Trice officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church, 501 Glenburn Ave., Cambridge, MD 21613 or to the Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
