Edna Mae Gordy

Edna Mae Gordy, 79, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Mallard Bay Care Center. She was born in Federalsburg on December 27, 1934 and was a daughter of the late Charles Edward Harris, Sr. and Lydia Ruth Wheatley Harris.
She attended schools in Federalsburg. Mrs. Gordy was a home maker. In 1976, she moved to Cambridge and lived with her late sister Lois Mowbray. She enjoyed knitting and watching television.
She is survived by a brother Robert Harris and wife Flora Lee of California and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mrs. Gordy is preceded in death by three sisters Annabelle Wasilewski, Cecil Williamson and Lois Mowbray and two brothers William Harris and Charles E. Harris, Jr.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Bloomery Cemetery on Bloomery Road in Federalsburg with Pastor Dave Stewart officiating. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
